Klok v2.2 (previously released) has been retracted due to errors in it that caused alarms to not repeat all the time even when set to do so.
You may download Klok 2.1 until the next version (2.4) is released. It is going to be re-written from the ground up.
The next version of Klok is now not going to be 2.4. Instead, I’m jumping to 3.0. This is attributed to the fact that this is a major release (once it’s released). It’s got a completely re-written back-end to it (you won’t see anything related to this). Performance is better, the file itself is smaller (Klok.exe). Also, there are going to be some new options. Currently, I’ve added an option for whether or not Klok is the topmost window. The ability to edit form/text colors is a possibility, but may not be added.
June 6, 2008 Update! Updated the links for Klok 2.1 due to a server change in January. Apparently no-one downloads it since the links have been broken for 5.5 months. Development probably won’t continue. If I get a spur of Windows Development energy, it may, but most of my development time is now spent on web projects and looking at Mac development.
Jan 30, 2007 Update! Well, if it wasn’t already obvious, Klok 3 still hasn’t been released. The beta was bad. Really bad. Almost as bad as 2.2 was! It’s not dead, I just haven’t had much time. Please come back later for more info.
Nov 28, 2006 Update! Klok 3.0 is now in Beta testing. I expect it to be released before Christmas.
I’ve had delays in my development schedule since I’ve got a lot going on right now. (You’d be surprised how little time a guy with no life has!) As such, Klok will be released as soon as I can, but I can’t give an exact date. Until then, enjoy Klok 2.1. 2.2 was nice, but just not as stable as 2.1 is.
