KeithMcD.com first started in January of 2004. Since then, it has seen too many changes to even count.

I’ve changed the software the site is powered by too many times, each time complicating the site more and more.

Now, I’ve stepped back and am running the site with WordPress. It’s very nice for blogging and very good for administration. Therefore, KeithMcD.com will more likely than not continue to be powered by WordPress for quite a while.

I’ve been on this Earth since June 9, 1984. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems Technology from Purdue University in May of 2006. I am probably one of the few to actually do it in four years as well!

Currently I work for Purdue University as a UNIX/Mac Desktop Support Specialist. My previous technology jobs include working for South Central Community School Corporation, Purdue North Central, US Steel and for a technology firm in Valparaiso.

Some information about me personally is that I am in a very serious relationship with a guy I really love. I read on occasion, but recently it’s just been the Harry Potter books and some magazines. I’ve got an iMac, Macbook Pro, iPhone and an Asus EeePC netbook. I love technology – the field along with how quickly things are changing for the better.
